Highly precise digital PWM signals The top-of-the-range CD/SD receiver comes with a JVC-original digital amp that is used for high-grade JVC home audio products. The benefits that digital offers over analogue include higher power, smaller dimensions, and higher efficiency with reduced power dissipation. But our Hybrid Feedback Digital Amplifier goes even further. As the name implies, the advanced device conducts two feedback processes; digital and analogue. The former generates highly precise digital PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals, and the latter further 'brushes up' the analogue signals to ensure that the waveform of the signal at output is identical to the original. This technology cuts the distortion to one-tenth that of a conventional digital amp and significantly improves speaker drivability.
